Job Storeperson, Lawnton

• Shift Time: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
• Pay Rate: $34 p/h including casual loading
• Start Date: ASAP, pending successful client interview onsite
• Duration: Casual role with consistent full-time hours each week available as long as required

Role: Warehouse Storeperson

Our client is an international supplier that imports and distributes specialised 4WD and racecar wheels, as well as automobile accessories and gear to customers around Australia. Catering to off-road adventurers, automotive professionals and general car enthusiasts, our client pride themselves on providing high-quality products and services to meet customer needs. They are seeking a storeperson with leadership experience to manage the warehouse at Lawnton.

The Role:

• Picking, packing and palletising orders
• RF scanning
• Forklift operation
• Wrapping and stacking pallets
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Manual handling and lifting up to 20kgs
• Adhering to safety, health & environment policies and procedures
• General housekeeping and warehousing duties
• Basic use of computer navigation and inventory management systems
• Manage a small team of 2-3 people

Essential to the Role:

• Have full Australian working rights, unsuitable for Working Holiday/Student Visas
• Current Australian Forklift License (required)
• Possess a current driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle (required)
• Be reliable and physically fit in general
• A strong commitment to safety
• Excellent attendance and employment record
• Well-presented and a positive work ethic
• Willingness to undergo random drug and alcohol testing
• Previous team leader/management experience will be highly regarded
