The Company
This established Insurance Builder, servicing Queensland and parts of New South Wales is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team. This will be a hybrid role (at least 1 day in office) with the office location being in Lawnton.
The Role
- Grow the insurance building arm by securing new panel opportunities and strengthening existing relationships with Loss Adjusters and insurers
- Support expansion into aged care providers, councils (including City of Moreton Bay) and schools
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Queensland and parts of NSW
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and a seamless client experience
- Provide market insights to help shape business growth strategies
- 5+ years’ experience in business development ideally within insurance building
- Solid contacts with Loss Adjusters and key contacts on panels
- Solid contacts in the Insurance, Aged Care, Education, Council and Government sectors
- Track record of identifying, winning, and growing business accounts
- Strong understanding of QLD market and key players
- Familiarity with government tendering platforms is a bonus
- Base salary up to $110K + super + uncapped commission structure. Base salary is dependant on experience
- Company car, fuel card, e-tag, phone, and laptop provided
